Welcome to Dorset HomeChoice. A group of councils in Dorset is working together to introduce a way of letting properties called Choice Based Letting. The Government has set a target for all Local Authorities to let properties in this way by 2010.

Borough of Poole has been using HomeChoice since 2004, Weymouth & Portland since 2006, Bournemouth Borough Council since 2008, Purbeck District Council since February 2009 and West Dorset District Council since March 2009. North Dorset District Council will begin to use HomeChoice in the next few months. If you are on the Housing Register in any of these areas, you will become a member of HomeChoice.
