Bournemouth Floating Support

Floating Support is available for those who need tenancy support. This could be used if you are about to move home, or if you are already living in your own home with no support but feel you are at risk of losing your home or not managing with daily life. A floating support worker can visit you each week in your own home. The support worker can help with tasks such as sorting out debts, speaking to your landlord and accessing other services such as healthcare.

This support stays with you for as long as you need it, up to a maximum of two years and when is no longer needed, floats off to another person who needs support.

Floating support is also useful if you are moving on from supported housing and need a low level of support whilst you settle into your new home and get used to living in a more independent setting.
